With a career spanning over 40 years, Jerry Gibson has consistently demonstrated his expertise and leadership in medical start-up ventures and technology turnarounds. His recent role as Chairman and CEO of Venclose, culminating in a successful merger with Becton Dickinson (BD) at the end of 2021, showcases his strategic acumen in the healthcare industry.
Mr. Gibson spent 15 years with Siemens Medical Solutions, holding various executive positions, including Division Head of Diagnostic Ultrasound, where he oversaw operations in the United States. He initiated his illustrious business career with Xerox Corporation, and his commitment to advancing healthcare extends to his role as Vice Chairman of the External Advisory Board of the University of California/National Science Foundation Center for Biophotonics Science and Technology.
Currently, Mr. Gibson actively participates on multiple Boards of Directors and business Advisory Boards. He is also engaged in the SW Advisory Board of St. Jude's Children's Hospital and contributes his insights to the Risk Capital Committee of the Flinn Foundation. Mr. Gibson is a graduate of the University of Memphis, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
