We are looking for an entrepreneurial RN/experienced sales professional who can help our entrepreneurial start up team launch a neonatal in home service business model by utilizing their nursing expertise, relationships in the local area, interpersonal skills and all other resources to partner with Doctors and Hospitals.

Job Description

  • We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who has relationships with local pediatrician offices and can get appointments to meet with the physicians to discuss with them our new service, Neo In Home Care and get commitments for patient referrals
  • Neo In-Home Care is an ‘in-home’ service centered around the treatment of Jaundice for neonates. This service supports the parents and the newborns for the treatment of jaundice once they leave the hospital and provides in-home patient care using Skylife phototherapy device and certified experienced nurses.
  • This in-home service includes training and startup of phototherapy for treating jaundice, and a comprehensive exam for the neonate (blood draw, weight, temperature, etc.) as well as lactation consulting and new mother education. This will minimize the need for the new parent and newborn from having to go back to the hospital or doctor’s office daily after birth as well as provide the important bonding and swaddling time of the baby and mother in the crucial first days after birth. NeoLight manages everything once the prescription for in-home treatment has been written, including home visit, data collection, blood draws and insurance billing.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Determine potential referring physicians to contact for service in the region.
  • Set up meetings and present NIHC service to physicians with the goal of achieving patient referrals
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the service offering, referral process, qualifying criteria and reimbursement policies.
  • Maintain and grow business with new and established referral sources
  • Communicates opportunities for relationship building and business expansion with Neolight’s executives
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Develops creative outreach strategies to access offices, schedule appointments and follow up on requests for information and service.
  • Understands and utilized Pitch material provided by company to use for presentations

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse preferred
  • 5-10 years medical product/service sales experience preferred
  • Neonatal experience preferred
  • In home care experience preferred

Technical:

  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Competent with office computer program (i.e. CPR+)
  • Competent at partner programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
